Audience Award at the Tokyo Financial Award 2024

GarageBank Corporation is pleased to announce that we received the Audience Award at the Tokyo Financial Award 2024. The novelty of completing sale-and-leaseback contracts entirely within an app, together with our use of machine-learning models, was recognized in this award.

Through cashari, GarageBank will continue to convert the value of physical goods into possibilities for everyone and to build a world in which anyone can take on new challenges.

About the Tokyo Financial Award

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has set out the "Global Financial City: Tokyo" initiative, summarizing the city's vision and policy measures aimed at establishing Tokyo as a leading international financial center.

As part of this initiative, the Tokyo Financial Award has been held since 2018 to recognize financial-services providers that develop and offer pioneering financial products and services addressing the needs of Tokyo residents, as well as those advancing sustainable finance.

The award has two categories — (1) Financial Innovation and (2) Sustainability — and aims to enhance Tokyo's profile as an international financial city while contributing to the vitalization of finance and the convenience of Tokyo residents and businesses.

Comment from Yoshihito Yamamoto, Representative Director, GarageBank Corporation

We are a startup creating a new experience around the management and use of personal asset items by establishing mechanisms that instantly convert the value of physical goods into liquidity.

We are delighted to have received the Audience Award at the Tokyo Financial Award 2024. Energized by this recognition, we will continue, as one team, to improve and advance our service in pursuit of a society in which everyone can take on new challenges through the value of physical goods.
